Colson Baker, or Machine Gun Kelly, is known for his distinct style of his rapping. Baker was born in Houston on 22 April 1991 into the same German and English Scottish family. His parents, who were also missionaries themselves, took him on several trips in his early years. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unable to work and Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Following that Baker and his father relocated to Denver where they lived in the home of his aunt. Baker was a target of bullying by other children because of his lack of wealth. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker started taking in hip-hop music. Colson Baker, also well-known as Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. He has been credited with combining modern hip-hop and alternative rock music in his compositions. Before getting signed to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. With lyrics that are as fast of a bullet train this Cleveland rapper experienced a meteoric increase in the latter half of 2011 as Baker made the switch from releasing self-released mixtapes into working with reputed labels. The popularity of this Cleveland rapper rocketed when he released his first mixtape late in 2011.
